Job Summary
Provide expert communication support, deliver staff training and consultations, and supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants. Create and support communication-inclusive environments while partnering in multidisciplinary intervention planning to drive whole-school communication strategies. Collaborate with teaching teams to model interventions and equip key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving therapy goals, operating through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week in mainstream school settings within Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth, with a salary up to £58,000 plus bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
