Job Summary
Implement universal strategies and targeted interventions across mainstream schools in the Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth areas. Deliver staff training and consultations while supervising and mentoring Therapists and Assistants. Partner in multidisciplinary intervention planning to ensure therapies are effectively integrated into school life. Drive whole-school communication strategies by equipping key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving their therapy goals. Operate through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with a welcome bonus structure. The employer provides a summer contract maximizing annual leave and trials 10% daily rest.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
