Job Summary
Provide expert communication support and deliver staff training to empower school staff in mainstream settings across Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants while implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Partner in multidisciplinary intervention planning to drive whole-school communication strategies and ensure therapies are effectively integrated into school life. Operate through a graduated response model to support children receiving the right level of assistance. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £58,000 plus bonuses, including 25 days annual leave and a 10% daily rest trial.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
