Job Summary
Provide expert communication support and deliver staff training and consultations to empower school staff in mainstream settings. Supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants while creating inclusive environments and partnering in multidisciplinary intervention planning. Drive whole-school communication strategies and model interventions effectively integrated into school life using a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and teaching teams across Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth to ensure children receive the right level of support. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with a welcome bonus and access to Inclusion Hubs and Momenta 360 programs.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
