Job Summary
Provide expert communication support and drive whole-school communication strategies across mainstream schools in the Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth areas. Deliver staff training and consultations to empower school leaders, while supervising and mentoring Therapists and Assistants. Create communication-inclusive environments by partnering in multidisciplinary intervention planning and ensuring interventions are integrated into school life using a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £58,000, including a welcome bonus. Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
