Job Summary
Implement universal strategies and targeted interventions across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Deliver staff training, consultations, and supervision to empower school staff and mentor therapists. Partner in multidisciplinary intervention planning to drive whole-school communication strategies and create inclusive environments. Ensure interventions are effectively integrated into school life using a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Provide expert communication support to equipping key adults with skills to support pupils achieving therapy goals.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- Fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
