Job Summary
Deliver staff training and consultation while supporting schools with sensory and functional participation needs. Supervise Therapists and Assistants, and contribute to multidisciplinary intervention planning across mainstream settings in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Implement universal strategies and targeted interventions to empower school staff, ensuring children receive appropriate support under the Experts at Hand model. Operate through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Permanent contract at 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £58,000 per annum plus a welcome bonus. The role involves shaping the area's inclusive education strategy within a multidisciplinary team focused on helping young people overcome educational barriers.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
