Job Summary
Deliver staff training and consultation while supporting schools with sensory and functional participation needs and implementing universal strategies. Supervise Therapists and Assistants, contribute to multidisciplinary intervention planning, and support EHCP/ISP processes and annual reviews. Collaborate with teaching teams to model interventions effectively integrated into school life, ensuring children receive appropriate support under the Experts at Hand model. Requires BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and supervisory experience. Permanent role in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth at up to £58,000 per annum.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
