Job Summary
Deliver staff training and consultation while supporting schools with sensory and functional participation needs. Supervise Therapists and Assistants and contribute to multidisciplinary intervention planning across mainstream settings in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Ensure interventions are modelled and effectively integrated into school life using a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Support EHCP/ISP processes and annual reviews where necessary. This role shapes the area's inclusive education strategy by empowering school staff to lead whole-school intervention planning. You will operate within a multidisciplinary team to equip key adults with skills for supporting pupils in achieving therapy goals.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
