Job Summary
Deliver staff training and consultation to support schools with sensory and functional participation needs. Implement universal strategies and targeted interventions across mainstream settings in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth to build the Experts at Hand model of practice. Supervise Therapists and Assistants while contributing to multidisciplinary intervention planning and supporting EHCP/ISP processes. Empower school staff to confidently lead whole-school intervention planning by equipping key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving therapy goals. Operate through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice to ensure children receive appropriate support. Requires BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and proven supervisory experience. Permanent contract at £58,000 per annum with a welcome bonus.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
