Job Summary
Deliver staff training and consultation while supporting schools with sensory and functional participation needs and implementing universal strategies across mainstream settings. Supervise Therapists and Assistants, contribute to multidisciplinary intervention planning, and support EHCP/ISP processes and annual reviews. Ensure interventions are effectively integrated into school life by equipping key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving therapy goals. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and teaching teams to shape the area's inclusive education strategy. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth, with a salary up to £58,000 per annum. The employer provides a welcome bonus, 25 days of annual leave, and extensive CPD support.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- Fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
