Job Summary
Deliver staff training and consultation to support schools with sensory and functional participation needs. Supervise Therapists and Assistants while contributing to multidisciplinary intervention planning across mainstream settings in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Implement universal strategies and targeted interventions to empower school staff in leading whole-school planning, ensuring children receive appropriate support under the Experts at Hand model. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours weekly with a welcome bonus and access to a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates must hold HCPC registration and demonstrate proven supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- Fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
