Job Summary

Deliver staff training and consultation while supporting schools with sensory and functional participation needs. Supervise Therapists and Assistants, and contribute to multidisciplinary intervention planning across mainstream settings in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Ensure interventions are effectively integrated into school life by equipping key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving therapy goals. Support EHCP/ISP processes and annual reviews where necessary, operating through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the area's inclusive education strategy and implementing the Experts at Hand model of practice. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and teaching teams to empower school staff to lead whole-school intervention planning.

Required Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
  • Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
  • Highly experienced in developing training
  • All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
  • Experience working with complex behaviours
  • Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
  • Specialist CPD and/or training
  • Trauma-Informed care experience
  • Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
