Job Summary
Interpret electrical plans, prints, and specifications while demonstrating proficiency in pole and tower climbing, URD installations, and aerial device operations. Perform work on energized high-voltage systems up to 230kV, safely identify primary and secondary voltages, and troubleshoot issues in power circuits. Conduct pre-job or tailboard briefings, provide on-the-job training to apprentices and crew, and maintain all company tools and equipment. Complete assigned work safely and efficiently within established timelines. This role requires a US citizen or green card holder with a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship and a Class A CDL; travel for extended periods is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or a green card holder
- completed a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Commercial Driver's License (Class "A")
- ability to meet all DOT requirements
- ability to pass a Drug and Background Check
- CPR and First Aid certified
- ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of employment
- willingness to travel for extended periods of time
