Job Summary
Schedule and conduct on-site High Value Property Surveys for residential homes in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, and Orange counties. Coordinate work assignments, visit properties to take photos and measurements, and document construction materials, unique features, and major hazards. Generate estimated replacement values and communicate findings in Loss Control 360 via the Signature website. Work independently as a self-directed 1099 contractor from your home office, driving to sites with a reliable vehicle and required tools.
Required Qualifications
- Must have smartphone, tablet, and personal computer
- A late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance
- High speed internet
- Digital Camera, or Smart phone with 16mp camera or greater
- measuring devices such as: laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel
Desired Qualifications
- Prior underwriting experience
- Prior inspection experience on residential homes
- Loss control experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professionalism
- Construction experience
- BA or BS degree
