Job Summary
Conduct on-site property surveys for high-value homes by visiting locations, taking photos and measurements, and documenting construction materials and unique features. Generate estimated replacement values, identify major hazards, and communicate gathered inspection data through the loss control 360 platform. Coordinate and complete surveys within your own schedule while managing web-based report submissions. Work independently as a self-directed contractor from your home office, interacting with homeowners and insurance agents via phone, email, and in-person.
Required Qualifications
- Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer
- A late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance
- High speed internet
- Digital Camera or Smart phone with 16mp camera or greater
- measuring devices such as: laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professionalism is key
Desired Qualifications
- Prior underwriting experience is desirable
- Prior inspection experience on residential homes is desirable
- Loss control experience desirable
- Experience in Insurance Adjusting, Home Appraisals, Real Estate or Construction is a plus
- Experience using Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or other diagramming programs will be helpful
- Construction experience desired, but not required
- BA or BS degree desired, but not required
