High Value Residential Insurance Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct on-site high-value property surveys in Knox, Roane, Loudon, Blount, and Sevier counties by visiting homes to take photos, measurements, and document construction materials and unique features. Generate estimated replacement values, identify major hazards, and communicate inspection findings via the Loss Control 360 platform. Coordinate work assignments and complete web-based reports within your own schedule while professionally interacting with homeowners and insurance agents by phone, email, or in-person. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours and requires a reliable vehicle, smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer
- A late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance
- High speed internet
- Digital Camera or Smart phone with 16mp camera or greater
- measuring devices such as: laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel
Desired Qualifications
- Prior underwriting experience desirable
- Prior inspection experience on residential homes desirable
- Loss control experience desirable
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professionalism is key
- Construction experience desired, but not required
- BA or BS degree desired, but not required
- Experience in Insurance Adjusting, Home Appraisals, Real Estate or Construction is a plus
- Experience using Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or other diagramming programs will be helpful
