Job Summary
High Vacuum Finish and Applications Engineer to drive end-to-end R&D and finishing process development for high vacuum color controls. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments (DOEs), defining and optimizing PVD/high vacuum process parameters, evaluating visual attributes (color/texture/gloss), implementing PFMEA and control plans, summarizing results for stakeholders, and coordinating with Delta Product Development and Finishing teams to meet metrics at multiple sites (with travel). The role emphasizes process improvements, cost reduction, safety and sustainability, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with suppliers and production personnel to advance high vacuum finishing capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred in a relevant engineering discipline
