Job Summary
High-Thrust Engine Lead responsible for directing Storm development, leading a team of engineers and technicians, and overseeing projects from concept to delivery. Role includes leading hiring and onboarding, guiding design decisions, coordinating with sales, marketing, and manufacturing, and identifying new business opportunities. Requires advanced degree in propulsion/aerospace, 10+ years in systems/spacecraft engineering, expertise with cryogenic propulsion, strong leadership of distributed teams, cross-functional collaboration, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English is required; relocation and visa sponsorship are available.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science or PhD in propulsion engineering, systems engineering, aerospace engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or spacecraft development roles
- Strong understanding of cryogenic rocket engines and cryogenic propulsive systems
- Experience managing requirements, interfaces, and technical budgets
- Strong leadership and management skills with ability to lead geographically distributed teams
- Excellent collaboration skills across departments for system integration
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and task prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
