Job Summary
Execute high throughput process development experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 biological agents and viruses. Operate and maintain laboratory automation equipment such as Tecan and Hamilton systems to support screening experiments. Perform analytical testing including cell-based assays, biochemical testing, and HPLC while preparing reagents, solutions, and culture media. Analyze, collate, track, and report data back to client staff members while maintaining records and test results following good manufacturing practices. Work independently and efficiently to document work clearly and perform tests accurately, communicating effectively with client staff members. Full-time position Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm in Rahway, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Completed B.S. in Biology, Cell Biology, Bio/chemical Engineering, or related science
- One year of general lab experience with mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays and aseptic technique
- Automation experience with TECAN and Hamilton systems, including with coding/scripting
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
