Job Summary
Maintain and expand primary human cells at scale while operating state-of-the-art instrumentation and liquid handling equipment. Collaborate within a team to plan experiments, execute new ideas for scaling cell models, and conduct routine troubleshooting on complex, multi-component projects. Independently manage laboratory instrumentation and communicate findings through internal group meetings. Requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with relevant research experience, plus the ability to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in biological sciences or related field
- 0-2 years' experience in a research laboratory
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related field
- 4+ years' experience in a research laboratory
- Experience working with laboratory instrumentation
- Experience with complex troubleshooting
- Experience with techniques required to culture primary human cells
- Experience with techniques required to culture stem cells
- Ability and willingness to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays according to business needs
