High School Theater Director

Directs and coordinates the Interboro High School theatre program, overseeing artistic vision, casting, blocking, scheduling rehearsals, and guiding the cast and crew. Communicates schedule and expectations to parents, manages the creative/technical team, and provides director’s notes during rehearsals. Collaborates on costumes and scenic designs, directs technical cues for sound and lighting, and coordinates with the stage manager to ensure smooth performances, including calling the show and managing curtain calls. Participates in Cappies organization and mentoring of Cappies representing the school; helps organize and submit show entries in a timely manner. Handles related financial discussions with the Production Manager as part of an extracurricular contract.
