Job Summary
Teach high school science within Independent School District 196, delivering the prescribed curriculum and fulfilling responsibilities outlined by the master contract and building leadership. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with staff and parents, and support district goals to educate, develop, and inspire students for lifelong success. Must hold Minnesota teaching license for high school science; ability to work with a culturally diverse student body and community is valued; ongoing commitment to inclusive, high-expectation instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach high school science
- Strong general academic background
- Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred
