Job Summary
Instructs High School students in Mathematics using varied teaching methods and current strategies; plans lessons, assigns work, corrects homework, administers tests, and informs parents of progress. Maintains classroom discipline, prepares course outlines aligned with curriculum guidelines, and participates in parent/teacher conferences, faculty meetings, and teacher-training activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher and Georgia certification (T-4 to T-7) with content-area specialization as required by GaPSC. Position involves standing and walking most of the day in a normal classroom setting. Salary scales for 2026-2027 not yet available; location is Atlanta, Georgia.
