Job Summary
Instructs High School students in Health and Physical Education (PE) using various teaching methods to supplement presentations, develops lesson outlines and objectives according to curriculum guidelines, administers tests, records results, and informs parents of progress. Conducts parent/teacher conferences, participates in faculty meetings and teacher training, and fulfills all duties as assigned. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher and GA certification (T-4 to T-7) with content-area specialization as required by GaPSC. Must stand/walk for several hours daily with light lifting (≤20 lbs).
