High School STEM Teacher (Math & Science)

Plan, prepare, and deliver rigorous Math and Science lesson plans aligned with Common Core State Standards, utilizing active learning strategies like direct instruction, discussion, and cooperative projects. Develop varied assessments measuring student progress and maintain an organized classroom environment that fosters high academic and personal expectations. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues while sharing responsibility for grade-level and school-wide activities. Ensure students master grade-level standards and adhere to school policies for student conduct and discipline. Work Monday through Friday with weekend availability at the new Elmhurst campus opening in Fall 2026, supporting a college preparatory mission for Queens students.
