Job Summary
Provide specialized instruction and individualized educational support for a small caseload of high school students with cognitive impairments. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tracking student progress and adjusting instruction as needed. Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to support students' academic, social, and functional growth while fostering a safe, inclusive classroom environment. Earn $46.10 – $49.20 per hour with comprehensive health coverage, a 401(k) match, and a consistent 35-hour school week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with a K–12 Special Education endorsement
- Cognitive Impairment (CI) endorsement
