High School Spanish Teacher

High School Spanish Teacher role involving delivering AP-ready instruction, building students’ bilingual skills, and fostering cultural understanding. Responsibilities include developing and delivering Spanish curriculum, helping students gain reading, writing, speaking, and listening proficiency, collaborating with the Spanish department to set academic and engagement goals, analyzing student work trends with the principal/coach, differentiating instruction for diverse learners, and participating in weekly school-wide meetings to reinforce core values and student achievement. You’ll partner with families to ensure appropriate resources and engage in professional development, mentorship, and coaching. Qualifications include a demonstrated commitment to students’ social-emotional and academic development, enthusiasm for collaboration, self-directed learning, and a bachelor’s degree with NJ certification eligibility; 1-2 years of urban-school experience preferred.
