Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • NY state certification eligibility requirements
  • Enrollment in a teacher preparation program and maintenance of a 2.5 GPA or higher if not having an education degree
  • Certification to be completed in New York within a reasonable period after starting employment
  • Academic expertise in Spanish or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in urban schools (preferred)
  • Demonstrated commitment to social-emotional and academic development of students
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
