High School Social Studies Teacher

Provide instruction in social studies to high school students within Dare County Schools. Deliver well-prepared lessons aligned to the curriculum and NC evaluation standards. Prepare daily lesson plans, ensure attainment of educational goals, manage student behavior, participate in required staff and student academic meetings, complete required reports and documentation, respond to parent inquiries and concerns, and perform duties such as bus, cafeteria, and playground supervision as assigned. Coordinate extracurricular activities and carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with board policies. Maintain professional conduct and comply with directives from supervisors; adapt to assignments as needed to support the educational environment.
