High School Social Science Teacher (49053)

Teach high school social science in Oakland, CA with a focus on delivering high-quality instruction in a small-school environment. Responsibilities include developing lessons aligned with Common Core Standards and AIMS guidelines, regularly assessing students and differentiating instruction based on data, collaborating with colleagues and families, maintaining accurate student records, engaging in professional development, and supporting the mission of AIM Schools. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, a valid California teaching credential (multi-subject for K-8), English Language Learner Authorization, and NCLB Highly Qualified status.
