Job Summary
Display a deep knowledge of science and its application to our lives; demonstrate the ability to connect Biblical truth to high school students; teach science classes utilizing the latest research and best practices; promote student engagement and progress; maintain records of learning and behavior; manage classroom and achieve school goals including maintaining ACSI certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field
- State teaching certification preferred
- Experience teaching AP/ Dual Enrollment preferred
- Training in Science and best practices in teaching
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to design engaging science lessons
- Ability to connect Biblical truth to science
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar; knowledge of FACTS a plus
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; physical demands for school environment
- ACSI certification maintenance requirements
- Background check and fingerprint clearance card requirement
