High School Science Teacher - Restorative Center

Deliver learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill students' intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth while enabling them to develop competencies for society. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of curriculum and state Standards of Learning to prepare students for grade-level mastery. Plan instruction including objectives, activities, and lesson plans for assigned classes and substitutes, utilizing current data for daily and long-range instructional decisions. Select and create comprehensive materials and technological resources to meet individual student needs, actively engaging all learners through varied instructional strategies. Communicate key learning goals clearly, provide ongoing feedback to students and parents, and utilize diverse evaluation strategies to measure achievement. Maintain records of performance and attendance, establish a safe classroom environment, and model professional ethics while collaborating effectively with administrators, colleagues, and the community.
