High School Science Teacher

Assume personal responsibility for the academic progress of all students by implementing a coherent, research-based curriculum aligned with Florida standards and Core Knowledge content. Document all instructional materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and rubrics, while utilizing varied techniques and technology to meet the educational, social, and emotional needs of learners. Create and sustain a disciplined classroom culture by developing clear expectations, monitoring behavioral standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of all instructional functions. Develop and use assessment data to refine curricula and evaluate academic achievement, collaborating vertically and horizontally with teaching teams across campuses to ensure student success. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to cultivate a character-driven learning environment, integrating technology throughout instruction and assessment. Dedicate time outside the normal work day to arts productions, after-school clubs, and school-wide events to support student success.
