Job Summary
Manage instructional programs for high school science students, delivering both synchronous and asynchronous lessons while consulting with learning coaches to ensure program completion. Conduct state testing administration, create progress reports, and hold parent conferences to track student advancement. Support English language learners by interpreting data and devising alternate instructional approaches. Collaborate with teachers and counselors to coordinate field trips, social activities, and community events, while maintaining up-to-date student records and attendance data. Participate in student recruiting sessions and professional development trainings focused on Title III compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside within the state of Alabama
- Appropriately certified to teach Science for High School in Alabama
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
- Team player track record
- Willingness to travel on occasion for school-based meetings, trainings, marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Ability to work remotely, if necessary
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
