Job Summary
High School Science Teacher to deliver science instruction aligned with state standards and curriculum; develop and implement lesson plans; differentiate instruction for diverse learners; assign and grade student work with timely feedback; maintain accurate student records; communicate with students, parents, and staff; collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement; uphold school policies and professional conduct; support development of critical thinking, writing proficiency, and literary analysis; provide classroom supervision and manage behavior per school policies; prepare for standardized testing and assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or related field
- Teaching certification in North Carolina or ability to obtain certification
- Previous teaching experience at the high school level preferred
