Job Summary
Virtual High School PE teaching role delivering online physical education content to students with a Virginia-focused preference. Responsible for providing instruction, support, and guidance through Stride K12’s LMS, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with families/learning coaches to achieve learning goals. Differentiates instruction to meet diverse learners, maintains grade books, and prepares students for high-stakes standardized tests. Requires in-person attendance for occasional PDs, testing, and school events; travels approximately 20% of the time. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree, an active Virginia teaching license with PE endorsement, and can work effectively from a remote home office within Virginia (or nearby states) while adhering to academy policies and procedures. Strong technology proficiency (Microsoft Office, Stride/K12 platforms, data interpretation) and the ability to communicate with families and students is essential. This is a full-time position (~40+ hours weekly) with potential performance-based compensation and virtual work environment.
