Job Summary
High School Multi-Cat/LD Special Education Teacher in Martinsburg, WV. Responsible for teaching students with learning disabilities and behavioral disorders (LD, BD, MM) in accordance with IEPs, with emphasis on multi-categorical special education. Requires a Bachelor's degree and ability to obtain West Virginia teacher certification in Multi-Categorical special education; experience with behavior modification preferred. Endorsement codes include 4105 (Specific Learning Disabilities), 4111 (Behavioral Disorders including Autism), and 4115 (Multi-Categorical). Endorsed roles may include eligibility for first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or perm sub if certified candidate unavailable. Salary schedule based on degree level and verified years of experience; full-time position in Berkeley County Schools. Endorsements and classroom responsibilities as assigned.
