High School Math Tutor - Mount Zion Christian Academy

Assist the lead mathematics instructor with targeted math intervention for middle and high school students, providing one-on-one and small-group tutoring to reinforce classroom instruction. Teach and support mathematics from a biblical worldview while helping students strengthen foundational skills and improve academic performance. Monitor student progress, communicate observations to the lead instructor, and maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined learning environment. Differentiate instructional support to meet individual needs and assist with classroom activities, assessments, and intervention plans as directed. Work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, parents, and staff, maintaining appropriate communication with parents as requested. Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school functions as required, while developing and maintaining a personal professional growth plan.
