Job Summary
High School Math Teacher responsible for implementing the district mathematics curriculum aligned with MA DESE Frameworks, delivering standards-based instruction with inclusion for all students, and working with special education and EL staff. Administers district assessments, analyzes data to tailor instruction, participates in ongoing professional development, and maintains accurate student records. Collaborates with grade-level and department colleagues district-wide to share best practices, abides by state statutes and district policies, and supports an equitable, culturally responsive learning environment while upholding the district's equal opportunity commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Massachusetts DESE Certification in Secondary Mathematics for corresponding grade levels
- Experience working with students, colleagues, and families from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds
- Previous training, experience and subject matter competence in high school mathematics programs and social-emotional learning
- Master’s degree preferred
