Job Summary
High School Math Teacher in Uncommon Schools’ urban New York–area campuses. Teach Algebra/Geometry/Calculus using a math curriculum; support student problem solving, foster self-guided learning, and build a positive classroom community. Work with grade/content teams to set academic goals, analyze student data with the principal/ instructional coach, differentiate instruction for diverse learners, and engage families. Participate in weekly school-wide meetings, mentorship, and ongoing professional development. Required: bachelor’s degree and NY state certification eligibility; 72k–115k annual salary range; full-time role with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Enrollment in NY state teacher certification process or eligibility to become certified in New York
