Job Summary
Teach high school mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus) to student groups, prepare students for AP and college-prep coursework, and use data to differentiate instruction. Collaborate with the math department to set academic and engagement goals, participate in weekly coaching and professional development, and foster a supportive classroom community. Build positive relationships with students and families to support learning; pursue NJ certification eligibility and eventual state certification; 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- NJ state certification eligibility requirements (teacher certification not prerequisite but you do need to meet NJ certification eligibility)
