Job Summary
Teach high school mathematics in urban charter schools across multiple campuses, using Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus curricula to prepare students for AP and collegiate coursework. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners, build a community of self-guided learners, and partner with families and grade-level teams to set academic goals. Participate in weekly coaching, data analysis of student work, and practice-based professional development to support social-emotional and academic growth of students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- NJ state certification eligibility requirements (final undergraduate or graduate cumulative GPA 3.0 for grads on/after 9/1/16, or 2.75 prior to 9/1/16)
- All instructional staff are required to become certified in New Jersey within a reasonable period after beginning employment.
