Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- State teacher certification requirements: MA educator’s license or MTEL SEI endorsement within first year of employment
- MTEL exams: pass Communications and Literacy MTEL, Subject-Specific MTEL, and MTEL SEI Endorsement within first year (for EL teachers)
- SEI endorsement required for teachers assigned to teach English learners within first year
- Experience: 1-2 years preferred in urban K-12 settings
- Academic expertise in Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or related fields
- Ability to teach Math at High School level including Algebra, Geometry, Calculus
- Strong collaboration with internal/external partners and families
- Commitment to social-emotional and academic development of students
- Bachelor’s degree and potential licensure path specified for MA requirements
- AP and college-prep coursework exposure desirable
