Job Summary
Subject to delivery of high-quality instruction in Pre-Cal and Math Reasoning for KIPP Memphis Public Schools. Plan a program of study and unit/weekly/daily lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum; create a learning environment conducive to student engagement; employ a variety of instructional techniques and media; implement the KIPP Memphis curriculum and instructional goals; use diagnostic assessments to identify student strengths and needs for intervention or acceleration; maintain safety, records, and compliance with policies; support administration and engage with students and parents outside instructional time; participate in professional development and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee state licensure and certification - endorsement matching subject area & grade band
- Bachelor's degree
- Commitment to working with educationally underserved students
- Commitment to the design and development of the school
