Job Summary
High School Math Teacher responsible for delivering standards-aligned instruction in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, or Precalculus while engaging in whole-school service roles to support school culture, family communication, and student development. Responsibilities include designing lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments; analyzing Gradient, NWEA, EOC, and internal data to inform instruction; mentoring and supporting students and families; leading or participating in whole-school initiatives (e.g., Grade-Level Lead, STEM Lead, Tutoring Lead, SEL Lead); maintaining a high-expectations, equitable classroom environment for up to 25 students; and meeting program-wide objectives for student growth and mastery. Requires Bachelor’s degree, Missouri math certification (or willingness to certify), and 3+ years of high school math teaching experience; salary $60,000 with standard benefits; on-site role in St. Louis, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Missouri math certification or willingness to certify ASAP
- 3+ years of high school math teaching experience
- Strong content mastery in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, or Precalculus
- Proficiency with data to drive instruction
