Job Summary
Full-time, in-person High School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, teaching 9th Grade Algebra 1 at Valor Collegiate Academies in Nashville. Responsibilities include planning and leading daily lessons aligned to Valor’s curriculum and TN State Standards, maintaining academic and behavioral data, managing gradebooks, participating in weekly coaching and IP meetings, enforcing school values and policies, and taking on various school-based duties (arrival/recess/lunch/transition/dismissal). The role also involves student mentorship, leading Circles, and tracking behavior feedback through Kickboard. Must hold an active Tennessee teaching license with Math 6-12 endorsement (or be enrolled in an approved educator preparation program) and have authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
