Job Summary
Math Interventionist for 9th- and/or 10th-grade students requiring intensive support in Math 1 and/or Math 2. Deliver synchronous instruction Monday-Thursday and asynchronous Friday, aligned to NC Math 1/2 standards, within a MTSS framework. Maintain student records and assessments, engage with parents and colleagues, contribute to the HS Math Department PLC, and support school events and activities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and North Carolina Math 9-12 teaching license (Math 6-9 not considered), with 3+ years of teaching experience; virtual/remote teaching experience and Canvas proficiency preferred. Must be a North Carolina resident. Hybrid/Remote work arrangement approx. 90-95% remote with a Durham, NC office location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- North Carolina Math 9-12 teaching license (will not consider a North Carolina Math 6-9 teaching license)
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching in a virtual or remote setting (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Canvas (Preferred)
- Must be a North Carolina resident to be considered for hire, must maintain North Carolina residency while employed by NCCA
