Job Summary
Provide special education services to high school students in a life skills program; develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and instructional materials to match student ability levels; work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity as assigned; support ARD Committee processes and IEP goal setting and implementation; demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills in educational planning and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignment
- Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
