Job Summary
High School Health Teacher to plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials, use technology to support and differentiate instruction, develop formative and summative assessments, monitor student progress, communicate with parents, maintain classroom discipline and safety, supervise students during field and overnight trips, and participate in school-wide activities and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field; Master's degree preferred
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a high school setting
- Valid teaching certification, preferred
- Strong knowledge of pedagogical practices and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
